To promote safe disposal of documents containing personal information, Senator Lindsey M. Williams and the Larimer Consensus Group will co-host a free Shredding Event on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the New Jerusalem Holiness Church, 111 Auburn Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. Shredding is limited to 2 boxes per car and is paper only. Shredding will be performed on site.
Participants should bring documents that are no longer need that contain personal information like their Social Security Number, credit card number, or bank account numbers, such as credit card statements and applications, bank statements, cancelled checks, income tax forms, insurance records, and medical and retirement/pension fund information.

On Wednesday, August 14th at 6:30 pm, Senator Lindsey Williams and the Education Law Center will host a live Telephone Town Hall meeting on Education in Pennsylvania. A guest from the Education Law Center will be joining the discussion. In partnership with the Senate Democratic Caucus, my office is hosting an Addiction Resource Open House on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Pioneer Hose, 124 Morgan Street, Brackenridge, PA 15014.
At this event, attendees will be able to talk to recovery specialists, family counselors, witness a Narcan demonstration, take home a safe prescription disposal bag, and much more.

Senator Lindsey Williams is hosting a free pop-up glass recycling event with the Pennsylvania Resources Council on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Kiwanis Park, 1 Meyer Road, Glenshaw, PA 15116. There is no cost to participants. All colors of glass bottles and jars will be accepted and staff will be on hand to assist recyclers. No window glass, drinking glasses/stemware, or ceramics will be accepted.

Come to a free shredding event hosted by Senator Lindsey Williams at the Shaler North Hills Library! This is a socially distant shredding event. Stay in your car and we'll take your boxes and put them in the shredding truck! Each person can bring up to 2 bankers boxes of papers for shredding. Do you have books to donate?
